I’m not so sure about that. Other Title 7 issues? Yes, I would agree with you. But as I read the justices right now, this would cross major red lines of religious compulsion for them. I’d be scared silly if they took up a Title 7 case about a story I wrote up recently — in which an order of nuns is discriminating against the LGBTQ people in their 25,000-member hospital workforce. In that case, I think the justices would be inclined to deny title 7 protection “on the basis of sex.”

But this case is much more cut and dried. Several conservative justices are on the record saying (in the recent case about the coach “privately” praying on the 50-yard line after high school football games) that they would oppose actual compulsion of religious practice, which mandatory prayer meetings clearly are.
