I'm not necessarily speaking for LGBTQ people universally, but we gay men sure have a problem with body issues, don't we?
Whether we believe we're too big, too small, too skinny, too fat ... we beat ourselves and others up, metaphorically speaking.
I remember being in my early 30s and anxious about taking my shirt off at The Boatslip, a popular party spot in Provincetown. I was healthy and fit, but I had internalized impossible beauty standards.
And that was in the days before Instagram thirst traps!
