I'm looking directly at Catholic nuns and priests who have to affirm that we queer people commit "acts of grave depravity." That is such a dehumanizing, sickening thing to teach people about those of us who are different. Nothing is more disgusting than that.

And I'm constantly hearing people saying that we have to respect folks for their religious beliefs.

I want to stick their noses in the Catholic catechism and force them to read its disgusting, dehumanizing language about people like me who are guilty of nothing but love.

I'l respect religious people when they stop demonizing me. But I'm not holding my breath.
