I'm just comparing it to my native state of Ohio and my current state of Michigan, though. In these two states, in areas that are also heavily evangelical Christian and conservative, voters came out in massive numbers to approve constitutional amendments enshrining the right to abortion. Analysts suggest that the reason the amendments passed is that otherwise conservative women confounded expectations by voting for reproductive freedom.

I'm just wondering if something like that could ever happen in Louisiana.
