I’m delighted Biden won, and I’m delighted he’s connected to the idea of the working class as exemplified by Scranton.

I worry that there’s little he can or will do for ordinary working people. We don’t live in a society where university and healthcare jobs can make most American families prosperous.

We need bold action to interrupt our division into a society of elites and underclass. So long as our leaders lack bold ideas, I fear populists like Trump will always be waiting to exploit fear and despair.
