The FDA frequently approves drugs using a variety of metrics for efficacy and safety. The fact of the matter is that this drug has proven for many decades to be safe and effective. The FDA knows that. This federal judge doesn't. He's just a fanatic Christian who will do anything he can to stop abortion.

As to the Supreme Court overturning his ridiculous decision, I hope so. Yesterday though, both Alito and Thomas signaled that they would probably vote to uphold him at least in part. The outcome of this case is far from certain.
