I'm also thinking about Saudi women.

Famously, several such women have fled the Kingdom in recent years, only to be pursued by Saudi law enforcement to be forcibly returned to their husbands or fathers. Sometimes third-party nations help to forcibly return Saudi women against their will.

Saudi women can't even travel internationally without a close male relative's permission, even if they aren't actually trying to flee.

I think by pretty much any accepted definition, most Saudi women are literally slaves.
