I'm also seeing an upsurge in followers that isn't corresponding to an upsurge in readers. I'm curious, are you getting a ton of SPAM from people promoting SEO services, newsletters about subjects you never write about, and "guest post" opportunities on sketchy platforms?

All of that's happening to me, and while it's not the end of the world, I've wondered if it's associated with the followers I'm getting who don't seem to read.
