If you’re disappointed in my response and consider it to be uncivil, then you need to work very hard to understand why your own response generated it.

Your original response to me was at least as uncivil as you perceive mine to have been.

When I quoted you in full to a group of gay friends, they wanted to know how badly I had roasted you, and seemed miffed when I told them I’d held my tongue.

You need to understand that putting our morality up for debate the way you did is deeply and fundamentally disturbing, and the definition itself of uncivil.

So, don’t lecture me on civility. You clearly don’t know what it means.

You can get back to me when you’ve figured out why we’re angry with you. If not, don’t bother.
