According to Kelly, a retired Marine Corps general, Trump repeatedly expressed to Kelly his disdain and disrespect for wounded or killed soldiers. Trump called them chumps and wondered what was in it for them when they volunteered to serve.

And even in this case with a soldier killed because of military neglect? (High ranking military and civilian officials apologized for the neglect that led to her death.)
