If teachings on gender and sexual minorities in the Catholic Church are so baked in that they cannot be changed, then the Catholic Church is vile and disgusting.

How foul could an institution be that actually found itself fundamentally incapable of treating gender and sexual minorities equally?

It’s not a matter of priorities. It’s a matter of us LGBTQ people being fully equal in fully moral human beings.

If the Catholic Church cannot accept that, then the Catholic Church can go fuck itself. The pews are already emptying out at decent inhumane people flee from barbaric doctrines. Let’s hope that process hastens and that the Church dies a fast death. We need less evil in the world, not more evil.
