If Jessie lied on a written report about the felony brutalization of a jail inmate by an officer, it’s hard to understand why Jessie is still working at the jail. Wouldn’t lying on an official report be grounds for immediate dismissal?

I certainly hope the sheriff follows up on this and does the right thing.
