If I didn’t pay for my dad’s COPD inhalers, he’d pretty probably just be dead.

Last week, I went to the pharmacy and had to pay 46 dollars instead of the usual 15 for his Albuterol rescue inhaler. No explanation. No appeal. Pay or go away.

He uses two other inhalers daily that keep him alive. Together, the two are more than what most people pay for mortgage or rent.

If he didn’t take them, he would not survive.

They sell in other countries for a tenth of what they sell in the US.

Out healthcare system is outrageously broken. Immorally broken.
