If I could just make a brief observation, I think we Americans sort of “lucked out” with Trump. He’s not even in the same league as Putin when it comes to laying on the charm to win people over.

If Trump were as skilled as Putin, Trump would probably still be president and would probably have accomplished a lot more of his agenda.

The two are alike in many disturbing ways, but Trump was never in Putin’s league. At least, that’s how I see it.
