I wrote just last week about growing up effeminate but never doubting I was boy, later never doubting I am a man, even though know I am not like most other men.

My sense of gender is solid as a rock, so I can imagine well the pain a trans person might feel if their own sense is that rock solid while society tries to force them to deny it.
