I wrote an article about the 60’s Scoop and residential schools a couple years ago when Jayli Wolf released her phenomenal "Child of the Government” track. Jayli is is a queer, indigenous Canadian who sometimes breaks into the charts with her music. If you don’t know her work, I’d urge you to watch the video of "Child of the Government," at least. I can’t recommend it highly enough.
