I write about LGBTQ issues for a living and I almost never hear Christians condemning other Christians for their prevalent anti-LGBTQ beliefs or for that for their sexism. And I pay very very close attention. You hear a quiet, timid voice now and again. But full-throated defense of the marginalized and shouting down of evil? Hardly ever. So rare it's amazing when it happens.

You bet it's for me to decide. I'm one of the "sinners" the vast majority of Christians in the U.S. hate on - and that a tiny of progressive Christrians meeekly defend. Every now and then. Every third Sunday or something like that. The victims of this horrifying hate religion are the ONLY ones who have a legitimate say in the decision.

Talk to almost any of us, and we'll tell you progressive efforts to shout down and drown out the haters aren't just not enough, they barely even qualify as a beginning.

Look how Christians are ramping up their vicioius war on us this year. Are progressive voices rising proportionately. Hell, no. They're the mereest whisper you can't make out under all the vicious Christian hate.

We can't hear you AT ALL this year, and this is why so many of us hate Christianity with such a fierce passion.
