I wouldn't be comfortable with any religious exemption that had the effect of allowing mistreatment of LGBTQ people. Title IX is the law of the land. There must be no exemptions to it. All educational institutions must be barred at law from discriminating against students based on sex. Religion must not be an excuse for bigotry - no matter who claiming exemption. Religious ideas must never be afforded special privilege above other human ideas.
