I would not presume to allow a woman I'm related to do or not to do anything. It's not my position as a man to tell any woman in my life what she has my permission to attempt.

As to age, boxing already doesn't categorize fighters by that metric. If you look up the Golden Gloves boxing program in the United States, you'll see that adolescents often box against older fighters.

It's such a normal part of the sport that I don't think anybody really ever thinks about it.
