I would add that I refuse to live my life defined by the idiotic superstitions of ignorant right-wing Christians. These are the same people who refuse to believe that evolution happens, and who have built a popular museum to that very concept, co-located with a museum that supposedly features a re-created Noah's ark. Because they believe Genesis is literal history. That's how freakishly ignorant and superstitious they are. (I get to see ads for those stupid museums on my television all the time.)

So, these superstitious freaks want to get in our bedrooms and control our private lives?

You bet they do!

And they're not going to stop. They're in a minority in the United States, and most people rightly see them as being incredibly stupid.

But somehow, they've won outsized political power by allying with Donald Trump and with the Republican Party in general.

The only thing decent, rational people can do now to stop them is to vote Democrat.

I'm not thrilled with the Democratic Party about a lot of things, but at least they're not amplifying the power of twisted, superstitious, ignorant religious fanatics who want to control the private sex lives of strangers.
