I wonder, Fred Shirley, if the mathematical complexity of classical music inspires a sort of scientific curiosity, or if it appeals to people already thus inclined.

Isn’t it true that scientists and mathematicians are more likely to be classical music fans than the general public? Or is that correlation without causation?
