I'd be fascinated to watch, because my partner and I fostered an abused child. Learning to to help him with his trauma was difficult, sometimes exhausting, but ultimately fulfilling.

He profoundly changed our lives and our relationship. Becoming parents was not something we anticipated when we got together. But when great need presented, neither of us could say no.

I'm interested to see that the show you recommend features a strong social worker. So did our story! Our child's case manager was a remarkable woman who carried so much trauma on her shoulders. She was a hero, in so many senses of the word.

She always had time for us, even though it seemed like her phone never stopped ringing.

Anyway, I do hope this show makes it to the States. I'd really love to see it!
