I will never understand this resistance to mask wearing. Selfish, senseless rebellion is the only way to describe it.

Partly, it may stem from the false idea that wearing a mask is done to protect oneself alone. Some people still haven’t got the message that wearing a mask is to protect others.

But that message is really accessible and prevalent right now. I really think people DO understand it, for the most part.

That makes the resistance all the more baffling and infuriating.
