I was rejected as too gay to volunteer to provide medical services at the beginning of the covid crisis. Franklin Graham's Evangelical association rejected me after they learned that I was gay and could not sign a statement similar to the one you were asked to sign.

Like you, the services that I was going to be performing had nothing to do with my sexual orientation.

This is just one of the reasons I thoroughly despise Evangelical Christianity. In its current incarnation, it is a vile and evil religion.

People like Graham might as well be Satan himself. What discourages me so much about all this is how many people are willing to set aside their consciences and associate with these disgusting organizations anyway.

If anyone is okay supporting or associating with an organization that rejects my medical volunteering because I'm gay, I despise those people. They are evil, immoral, monstrous human beings.

One of the biggest reasons why Evangelical Christians in the United States maintain so much political power and spread so much hate and havoc, is that decent people will not stand up to them, resign from their organizations and churches, or whatever else it takes. We insist on treating them as if they're just ordinary people with different points of view. They are not. They are scum. They are vicious bigots who need to be treated like the monsters they are.
