I was one of them! Hell, I served in the Electronic Security Command of the US Air Force, where pocket protectors and programmable calculators were (much) more common than firearms.

They disbanded the ESC after I left. I swear I didn't have anything to do with it. I'm sure the rest of the Air Force was just nervous about entire Wings of nerds running around. It was safer to disperse us throughout the Air Force where we could be watched more closely.
