I was beyond shocked when I saw this story yesterday. A school district employee entered the classroom of a Black teacher teaching primarily Black students in a Black neighborhood – to remove photos of Black heroes from a bulletin board meant to inspire Black children to excellence.

Our nation and the Republican Party in particular are in a very sick place right now. This is unspeakable.
