I was aghast when I saw this yesterday. The video is shocking in how it vividly highlights the cops' brutality and inhumanity. Their lack of emotional response to the torture they applied to this child is hard to accept. They are fundamentally broken human beings.

It’s really telling that the Rochester Police Union and a senior official with the department have claimed that torturing this child was “required” by police procedures. The police union and that senior officer lack basic human decency.

Let it be noted that many if not most police in the United States are morally twisted people who accept violence and torture as an ordinary part of their work.

Combine that with ordinary and accepted racism among a bulk of law enforcement officers, and it’s no wonder that cries of “Defund the Police" fill the air.

Nothing is going to change until monsters like these officers are fired. Nothing is going to change until police unions that defend torture are destroyed.

Nothing is going to change until law enforcement agencies either decide or are forced by decent Americans to completely change how they operate and purge their ranks of the vicious people like the ones in this video.
