I was absolutely clear what Rowlings was talking about, and she was beyond question engaging in a form of Holocaust denialism. Queer people were Holocaust victims, in appalling percentages. The Nazi Party absolutely targeted transgender people and scientists who researched transgender issues and supported transgender people. Her tweet was appallingly ignorant and thoughtless.
