I very much appreciate this article and your arguments, some of which I highlighted.

You should know, however, that Mike Rosebush endorses and supports a follow-up movement to the ex-gay movement that counsels gay men that God wants them to be celibate instead of forming intimate, loving relationships with one another.

When I saw Mike counseling gay men on Facebook that Christianity might require them to be celibate, I first screamed in rage, then removed every word he had ever published with the Prism & Pen. Mike lied to us when he told us that he was in affirming Christian.

Affirming Christians do not under any circumstances religiously counsel gay men not to have sex. That’s disgusting, toxic, and horrifying all at the same time.

Mike is all of those things. Anyone who uses Christianity to tell gay men that God might not want them to have sex is the enemy of LGBTQ people.

When you endorse his writings, you are endorsing vicious anti-gay religious oppression.
