I understand the restaurant's owners son had the law on his side. Of course he could exercise his right as a property owner to have police ejec ta party. And now he and the restaurant are paying a price. Because folks are disgusted. I'm expressing my disgust, and I'm going to say something again that you don't seem to understand but which is absolutely correct on my part.

People paying a big tab for fine dining don't expect to have a short time limit imposed on their experience. I've dyed at or expensive restaurants all over the world, and I'll tell you that a 90 minute time limit is utterly ridiculous. That is nothing like what people expect, and it's nothing like what people should accept.

At the very least, the restaurant should have warned the party in advance that they had such an odd policy.
