I understand that, which is why I asked why men aren't supposed to be caretakers too. The problem is that Pope Francis reduced women to that primary role. Excluding them from leadership in the church, including them from the priestly function, and plenty of other functions that only men in the church are allowed to perform.
I don't know why people put up with that kind of nonsense. I actually know gay people who still go to Catholic churches, even though the Church labels them is depraved and disordered!
I could never do that. When I see a priest or nun, I literally want to yell at them and tell them that their theology is disgusting, and that I am their target — that I take it personally, and I will never accept them as decent people.
It's hard for me to imagine why gay people except the horror of the Catholic Church. It's equally hard for me to understand why any woman participates in their extremist sexism.
The world will only start becoming a better place when we stop cooperating with monstrosity.
