I think that weak central coherence in my reading has tended to strengthen my writing, actually. What I mean is, since I often have a hard time identifying the central meaning of written passages, I go to extreme lengths (or at least I think I do) to paint it in bright neon colors in my own writing.

I figure if I can't miss it, then nobody can. 😂

Perhaps in this sense, overcompensation ends up being at least a little bit helpful.
