I think maybe the people who work for the Mickey Mouse company, meaning the animators, voice-over actors, and other artists need to think carefully about what's happening.
Many of them are those who walked out in the action you described, and they did so because that's who they are. Queer people, for whatever reason, are disproportionately common among artists. And artists who aren't queer are disproportionately likely not to subscribe to conservative values describing us as evil and whatever else.
So, now what?
With Disney baring their conservative fangs again, what's an artist to do?
The temptation to choose money over morality and human decency is going to be very strong.
