I stalked and stalked last summer, trying for a perfect photo of a male ruby-throated hummingbird close up. I got a few photos that are semi okay, and some brilliant photos of the less colorful female ruby-throated, but I never did get that perfect shot that I worked so hard on.

There is always next summer!
