I spent an important part of my ears living near Chattanooga , but on the Alabama side of the border. I can't say that religious fanaticism and extremism from that area greatly surprise me.

It's Judge Roy Moore country, after all. But I was pleasantly surprised to see that for all the negative commentary, there was quite a lot of pushback too.
