I should say that I am shocked by the Trump administration policy, which I just saw reported in the news this morning, but nothing shocks me anymore.

It seems as if ICE is full of hardliners who look any possible excuse to deport whomever they can, with deportation itself seeming to be a virtue.

Of course international students need to remain on campus even if most classes are held online. Obviously, lectures aren’t the totality of the educational experience.

Clearly, a global pandemic requires flexible thinking and policies.

While I hope your idea can work for many, I’m just stunned it should have to. Something is terribly broken with US leadership right now on the federal level.
