I saw that too! She definitely has a point. Of course, it's also important to note that we're regressing as a society, that hate speech has been markedly increasing over the past few years. I don't know that "backlash" is necessarily the best vocabulary for wrapping those concepts up together, but I think we should strive to wrap them up somehow.
