I run into these Democrats all the time. They don’t think of themselves as racists or homophobes. They wrap their ideas up in a veneer of ‘fair-minded’ reasonability.

“Really, you would destroy a man’s business just because his religion forbids him from baking a wedding cake? Bad radical activist! Be nice!”

That’s kind of the idea.
