I really love the way you told this story! It's so very hard to get through the first part of it, to engage with the cruelty and horror of sadistic religious teachings.

It's hard to cope with the fact that this evident love affair was changed into something sickening because a religion couldn't stand for the love to be evident.

But you greatly encourage me with your final lines, reminding me that the love story is still there for those who wish to find it. Islam tried to bury it and destroy it, but they failed. Something very close to the truth remains for someone who digs and finds it.
