I realize it's just a game show, but nevertheless it seems to me the people with such a huge platform have a responsibility to communicate accurately. They failed in this case, and they did so anyway that subtly mocked queer people. I'm not so sure I extend the same grace that you do with respect to intentions. People who run that show are razor sharp and well informed. It's hard to suppose they didn't know what they were doing.
