I quite agree with you, actually, and my shorthand may have shortchanged clear communication. What I was trying to express is that lots of people have ideologies about transgender people, who exist and will continue to exist regardless of ideology. Some ideologies are supportive. Some are not. (i.e. gender crits and TERFs) But even somebody with a non-supportive ideology should understand that trans people are people first, no matter what, and should be free to live in peace.
