I oppose charter schools too, because they effectively destroy public education, which every child in the United States ought to have a right to. I’m fairly astonished you suggest the solution to bullying is leave schools in the hands of bullies. That is absurd, verging on evil.

We LGBQT people expect and demand full equality. We demand an end to anti-gay and anti-trans education policies. We’re sure as hell not leaving public schools. Fuck that. We’re staying, and we’re TAKING what is rightfully ours.

Abandon public schools? Never. We have a RIGHT to them, just like everybody else. We will NOT surrender that right. We are not sick, perverted people who have to flee our neighborhood schools. What a disgusting thought.
