I noticed the disconnect yesterday on Twitter when I saw certain notorious anti-trans activists celebrating a victory, in (to put things extremely charitably) rather mean-spirited ways.

I had to dig in to realize that the victory they were claiming was nothing like what they said it was.

The scary part is that I couldn't dig into most British media reports to find out. It seems like most journalism out of the UK these days is reflexively and thoughtlessly anti-trans.
