I never followed football, so until this guy stood for political office in Georgia, I had never heard of him. Then I started seeing some of his speeches, and oh wow. I wondered how he could be a viable political candidate when he was so clearly unqualified for high office, regardless of his political positions. That's when I learned he used to be a sports star.

The fact that he has a chance of winning says a lot of negative things about us as a nation and our political process. It says a lot about the Republican party too, that they would be willing to promote a candidate without the wherewithal to serve.
