I never cease to be amazed at how members of the public seem to feel they actually know entertainers personally and have some kind of stake in those entertainers' lives.

Now, admittedly, I don’t know much of anything about Ellen DeGeneres. I may have watched her talk show a grand total of three or four times, and I never saw her sitcom. I’m just not a television person.

But, isn’t it a little bit sexist to suggest that a woman must be nice?

Men are rarely held to that standard. Hmmmmm…
