I mean like Republicans changing filibuster rules as they see fit to confirm their own Supreme Court justices or block Democratic nominees. I mean muscling legislation through regardless of whatever Senate traditions might be. I mean not being institutionalists, doing whatever it takes to pass their agenda.

They have done remarkably well. We're losing very badly, and we will continue to lose until we start playing to win, and that has to start with Biden getting tough and leading the party, rather than letting events lead him.
