I mean, I'm not saying it's not okay for politicians to talk about military policy. On many levels they're supposed to. It's their job. But it seems to me that what Haley is doing is a far cry from responsible oversight. Her comments seemed designed to appeal to Trump supporters and put military leadership in a serious bind, not mention fomenting political unrest in the ranks.
