I made a pasta sauce last night from cherry tomatoes that I'm picking by the bowlful from my garden every day. The bigger tomatoes are only just starting to ripen, and that's going to be a bumper crop too.

Unfortunately, it's been so wet that some of my tomatoes are splitting a bit before they're all the way ripe, and they don't have a very condensed sweetness to them.

But that pasta sauce! Oh my God! Just a little shallot and hint of basil. Then simmered for a while to drive off the excess water.

To. Die. For.

I haven't had much success with my pepper plants, though. One plant produced one green pepper, and another plant produced one red pepper. My third plant has five or six yellow peppers on it, and they'll be ripe soon enough. But it's not been a bumper year.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong.
