I loved that film! I’m happy to report I got to watch it without having it spoiled first, and I’m sorry you didn’t get to.
So here’s a not very profound comment about my little personal dilemmas. Like most people, I watch movies these days mostly by streaming them, and there’s so much to choose from that I often can’t decide on a film.
Rather than just watching something at random, I like to find out a little about what the movie is about first. But that’s a lot harder than it might sound.
My request of the major streaming services would be that they give us more than just three or four cryptic sentences about their films. Tell us what it’s about and what’s going on enough to let us know whether we really want to watch.
Personally, and maybe I’m weird, I’ve never watched a movie because of who acts in it and I doubt I ever will. So when a streaming service basically limits its description to what stars appear in a film, I can feel pretty frustrated.
But then when I go elsewhere to try to find out more, I can see spoiler after spoiler.
Ugh.
There, that’s my first world problem of the day. 🤣
