I live in Michigan near an expansive wind turbine farm. Our temperatures have been as cold and colder than what Texas has experienced. Those turbines are chugging merrily along.

I heat my home with natural gas, just like all my neighbors do, and none of our natural gas lines froze.

To see the governor of Texas trying to blame this whole thing on renewables is so frustrating.

He knows he’s lying when he says thing like that. This is just one of the reasons I find politicians as a class despicable. They will say anything that will please their constituents, no matter what resemblance it bears to the truth.

Politicians on the left and the right are often guilty of this. I wish I knew how we could put some kind of system together that punished politicians definitively for lying to the public.
